Gypsophila or gypsum herb is wonderful to incorporate into bouquets. It gives a bouquet volume and just that extra bit of color. This beautiful dark pink dried gypsum is nice to process in bridal bouquets.
The official name of gypsophila is gypsophila, which comes from the Greek words "gypsos" = plaster (lime sulphate) and "philos" = friend. This beautiful name refers to the preference of the flower for lime -rich soils. Did you know that Gispruid is in the distance of the carnation?
