Dracaena Marginata in the cultivation jar

There are many Dracaena species and most occur in Africa, South Asia and Central America. The botanical name Dracaena is derived from the Greek "Drakaina", which means female dragon. This name owes that name to this temperamental lady to the bright red resin, or dragon blood, which produce some species. It could imply that it is difficult to tame, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Dracaena is satisfied with a light place, regular water (but not too much; it does not like wet carrots) and occasionally somewhat fooling with, for example, a plant sprayer.
Care tips: partial shade, no direct sunlight. In the winter not colder than 16 ºC. Keep moist, potting soil should not dry out. Not necessary fertilizing. Suitable for dark places. Long shelf life.
