The Bonsai is an old art of growing and taking care of miniature trees. Literally translated from Japanese, Bonsai means "planted in a pot".
Although Bonsai is a Japanese word, art was created in the Chinese empire more than 2000 years ago. In the west, the Bonsai was only introduced at the end of the 19th century where it became hugely popular.
A Bonsai keep the techniques that are needed to grow a bonsai can be learned by everyone. However, a Bonsai requires a lot of care; Constant care. Growing Bonsai is therefore not a weekend -hobby. Growing Bonsai does not have to be an expensive hobby. In a garden center you can usually find a nice bonsai and materials enough for care and keeping and / or cultivating a bonsai.
Growing and forming smells as follows: By regularly pruning you keep the bonsai in the desired shape. By wrapping the branches with iron wire, we are able to bend it to get the desired shape. Because the Bonsai is in small pots, it is important for them to water them regularly (every day in the summer). You can also cover the bonsai pots to a larger pot.
