The Medinílla Magnifica comes from the tropical mountain areas of the Philippines. There are around 400 types of Mediníllas, of which only the Magnifica is offered as a houseplant. The ideal temperature for this plant is 15 to 25 ºC. Give the plant a light sunny place with lots of fresh air. However, avoid bright sunlight between 1APRIL and 1oktober, but set the plant as light as possible from 1 November to 1 February. Make sure the plant is moderately moist and certainly does not keep it too wet. Give the Medinilla nutritious soil and fertilize it once a month. To keep the leaves in shape, you can regularly spray them with lukewarm, softened water. The pink flower consists of many bunch -shaped flowers with 1 or 2 wreaths and has a length of approximately 30 cm. You can repott in the spring. If the plant is repotted, the plant can be cut back if necessary.
